Abstract

Durante mi permanencia en la República Dominicana he recolectado algunos insectos, entre los que se encuentran también Cóccidos, y aunque el número de especies que he reunido no es muy grande, presentan algún interés, unos por no estar citados de este país y otros por aparecer sobre nuevas plantas matrices para las especies de que se trata, de modo que esta nota contribuye al conocimiento de los Cóccidos del Nuevo Continente.
