[EN] Results of research on antifouling paints submerged in Palma de Mallorca harbour are presented In this paper. Studies of hydrography, phytoplankton pigments, macrobenthos settling on PVC panels and zooplankton are also included. Formulations of tributyltin and copolymers vynil and chlorinated rubber systems, pigmented with Cu2O, TBTO, TBTF, SCNCu, Fe2O3 ZnO and mixtures of these toxic pigments were tested on a experimental raft for 12 months. The advantages and disadvantages of different paints formulations are discussed
