Abstract

La aportación pretende contribuir al conocimiento de la reina Isabel II y de su gestión política, juzgadas ambas no unánimemente por la historiografía. En el caso asturiano, la «protección » de Isabel II aparte de su industrialización (Fábrica de Armas de Oviedo y de Munición de Trubia, etc.), contribuyó fuertemente al despegue demográfico, económico y socio-cultural del Principado de Asturias.
