Nuevos retos y nuevos instrumentos en Astronomía

Abstract

[FR]: Les progrès spectaculaires de notre connaissance du cosmos réalisés ces derniers temps ont ouvert des nouveaux horizons et des nouvelles interrogations. Parmi les exemples de grand impact médiatique, on trouve l'étude d'une grande population d'exoplanètes et la possibilité de trouver de la vie extra-terrestre, les trous noirs supermassifs et leur importance pour la vie des galaxies ou bien encore la composition de l'univers dominé par la matière noire et l'énergie noire. Ces nouveaux paradigmes requièrent de nouveaux observatoires sur terre et dans l'espace: ils seront disponibles d'ici à 2030. ALMA, qui est déjà en fonctionnement, est en train de montrer une vision vraiment révolutionnaire de l’univers froid. Le Télescope Géant Européen (E-ELT) et le Télescope Spatial James Webb (JWST) apporteront une vision complète de l’Univers infrarouge, et ils verront la plus ancienne lumière des étoiles dans l’Univers. Le Télescope Spatial aux rayons X Athena observera les plus anciens trous noirs aux centres de leurs galaxies et mesurera l’énergie généré pendent leur croissance. Avec d’autres projets tels que Euclid, SKA et CTA qui compléteront le spectre aux rayonnements radio et aux rayons gamma de très haute énergie, voici l’ensemble des observatoires avec lesquels les astronomes européens feront face à l’avenir dans 15 ans

[ES]: Los avances espectaculares en nuestro conocimiento del Cosmos conseguidos en los últimos tiempos han abierto nuevos interrogantes y nuevos horizontes para el futuro. Entre los ejemplos de particular impacto mediático se encuentran el estudio de grandes poblaciones de exoplanetas y la posibilidad de encontrar vida fuera de la Tierra; los agujeros negros supermasivos y su importancia en la vida de las galaxias o la composición del Universo dominada por materia oscura y energía oscura. Los nuevos paradigmas requieren nuevos observatorios en tierra y en espacio que estarán disponibles de aquí a 2030. ALMA, ya en funcionamiento, está aportando una visión revolucionaria del Universo frío. El Telescopio Europeo Extremadamente Grande (E-ELT) y el Telescopio Espacial James Webb (JWST) nos darán una completa visión infrarroja del Universo, y llegarán a ver las primeras galaxias que se iluminaron. El telescopio espacial de rayos X Athena observará los primeros agujeros negros gigantes y medirá la energía que generan durante su crecimiento. Junto a otros proyectos como Euclid, SKA y CTA completarán en radio y rayos gamma muy energéticos la batería de observatorios con los que los astrónomos Europeos se enfrentarán al futuro dentro de 15 años.
