Abstract

El Centro de Física Miguel A. Catalán (CFMAC) lo forman los Institutos de Estructura de la Materia, Física Fundamental y de Óptica “Daza de Valdés” del área científica de Ciencia y Tecnologías Físicas del CSIC. La biblioteca da cobertura a los tres Institutos desde 1995. En el año 2013 se dieron los primeros pasos para la creación y organización del Archivo en la Biblioteca del CFMAC (AME) con el fin de dar a conocer documentos almacenados pero sin visibilidad, conscientes de la importancia y valor histórico de los mismos. Esta andadura comenzó con el Fondo de archivo del Instituto de Óptica “Daza de Valdés” (AME/IO)* y en la actualidad se trabaja en la biblioteca con el Fondo de Archivo del Instituto de Física Fundamental (AME/IFF). El protocolo de actuación siempre ha sido el mismo: registro y catalogación de los documentos en el Sistema de Gestión de Archivo-Biblioteca Aleph y en el mes de Junio con motivo del Día internacional de los Archivos, se organiza una exposición para mostrar a los usuarios la existencia de dichos documentos.
