Abstract

[EN]: The interaction of the herbicide maleic hydrazide with three montmorillonites, phyllosilicates of permanent charge and to iron oxihydroxides of variable charge, lepidocrocite and goethite, has been studied by using adsorption-desorption techniques from aqueous solutions. These resultas suggest: a) the HM adsorption on iron oxihydroxides occurs on external surfaces by hydrogen bond s to the hydroxyl groups or water molecules, being easy their desorption and b) the HM adsorption by montmorillonites STx ad SWy occurs as above but also in the inter .lamellar spaces by association through hydrogen bonds, to the exchange cation or to the oxygen surface, being difficult their desorption
