Abstract

In the present study, 53 experimental essays have been carried out in order to quantify the incidence of the texture of the gypsum rocks on the dissolution process. In the two types of alabastrine - gypsum used, and under the same experimental conditions, different dissolution yelocities have be en recorded, according to the diverse textural characteristics. Mesocrystalline gypsum dissolution velocity is 22% higher than that of microcrystalline.
