[EN] Pollen-pistil compatibility between eíghteen cherry cultivars has been detennined. Fruit set in hand pollinated caged trees has been recorded; and pollen tube growth in hand pollinated detached flowers has been examined. Twelve of the eigthteen studied cultivars fall into four incompatibility groups: 'Moreau' 'Burlat'. 'Marmotte' 'Bing' 'Lambert' 'Napoleón' 'Ramillete'. 'Van' 'Vernon' 'Tigre' 'Vignona' 'Guillaume' . Cultivars 'Ambrunes', 'Taleguera brillante', 'Ramon Oliva', 'Stark Hardy Giant', 'Hedelfingen' and 'Reverchon' are intercompatible aswell as compatible with the other twelve studied cultivars. Suitable pollinators are determined considering the compatibility reaction and the blooming periodo.
