Chile en la colección de fotografías del CSIC de España

Abstract

El conjunto de imágenes de Chile que se presenta en esta obra forma parte del más de medio millar de fotografías conservadas en dos centros del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas español -la Biblioteca General de Humanidades, desde 2008 Biblioteca Tomás Navarro Tomás del Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales y el Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales del CSIC- sobre lo que se ha llamado la última expedición romántica del siglo XIX: la Comisión Científica del Pacífico 1862-1866.

Esta publicación es fruto de diversos proyectos de colaboración científica entre sus editories. Es uno de los resultados del proyecto español "Viajes científicos europeos en el mundo hispánico. De la visión armónica de la Naturaleza a las tesis evolucionistas", pero también de los proyectos FONDECYT en Chile Nºs 1020875 y 1051016

La colección completa de imágenes de la Comisión Científica del Pacífico está accesible en www.pacifico.csic.es y en el catalogo de archivos del CSIC http://aleph.csic.es/

Se incluyen dos archivos: uno con el texto y otro con las fotografías del catálogo
