La invención da a conocer un modelo de animal transgénico para los trastornos del espectro autista, ansiedad y/o depresión, que comprende de manera estable integrado en su genoma una secuencia de nucleótidos heteróloga que codifica la proteína GluK4, en el que dicha secuencia de nucleótidos se expresa en el cerebro anterior del animal. Por lo tanto, la invención se refiere a un método para generar este modelo y un método para probar fármacos y fármacos candidatos para el tratamiento de trastornos del espectro autista, ansiedad y/o depresión.
[EN] The invention relates to a transgenic animal model for autism spectrum disorders, anxiety and/or depression, comprising a heterologous nucleotide sequence, stably integrated into the genome thereof, which codifies the GluK4 protein, wherein said nucleotide sequence is expressed in the forebrain of the animal. Therefore, the invention relates to a method for generating this model and to a method for testing drugs and drug candidates to treat autism spectrum disorders, anxiety and/or depression.
