Abstract

A pesar de la importancia de la emigración portuguesa hacia Castilla, aún nos queda mucho para poder conocer mejor el impacto que tuvo esta población en los distintos núcleos urbanos. Tomando como marco la Sevilla de inicios del siglo XVII daremos aquí algunos datos sobre las pautas de movilidad de estos inmigrantes, la edad que tenían cuando salieron de sus hogares, los lugares de origen y detalles sobre las rutas seguidas en estos procesos migratorios.
