Abstract

Esta es una de las 11 comunicaciones presentadas en un seminario realizado en Barcelona los días 23 al 25 de Febrero de 1983 titulado “El Sistema integrado del Ebro”, que ha sido el colofón a tres años de trabajos (1980-82) realizados dentro del proyecto “Calidad de las aguas continentales, marítimas. Delta del Ebro”, financiado por el Comité Conjunto Hispano-Norteamericano para la Cooperación Científica y Tecnológica (acuerdo complementario número 3), cuya convocatoria apareció en el B.O.E. n° 9 del 10 de Enero de 1979 (Resolución n° 547). Dentro de este proyecto el “Grupo de salinidad del Ebro”,integrado por el CSIC - Estación Experimental de Aula Dei (EEAD), el Centro Regional de Investigación y Desarrollo Agrario del Ebro (CRIDA-03, INIA) y el Land, Air and Water Resources Department (University of California, Davis), ha analizado la problemática general de la salinidad en la cuenca del Ebro.

En esta comunicación se presenta la metodología y resultados del trabajo realizado para la obtención de los principales componente; del balance de agua y sales de un polígono de riego de 5.256 Has del I tramo del Canal de Monegros. El objetivo fundamental de este balance es, en primer lugar, la calibración del modelo conceptual hidrosalino y, en segundo lugar, el análisis del rendimiento del riego y su relación con la salinidad en un polígono representativo de los regadíos de la Cuenca del Ebro.
