Abstract

[ES] Se ha estudiado la genética del caracter contenido en grasa en los aquenios de girasol, y de sus componentes, contenido en grasa en la almendra y porcentaje de almendra, mediante la aplicación de análisis dialélicos a un grupo de siete líneas consanguíneas, empleadas en la producción de cultivares híbridos. En general, hubo ajuste al modelo aditividad-dominancia, por lo que el análisis dialélico de Hayman-Jink se ha revelado útil para el estudio abordado. Se encontró variabilidad genética para los dos componentes en que se descompuso el contenido en grasa del aquenio. El porcentaje de almendra estuvo regulado por efectos genéticos exclusivamente aditivos, mientras que en el contenido en grasa del aquenio y de la almendra fueron significativos tanto los efectos de la aditividad como los de la dominancia.

[EN] The genetics of oil content in the achenes and in the kernel of sunflower were studied as well as the genetics of the percentage of the kernel over the achenes. Seven inbreeding lines were used to construct a 7 x 7 set of crosses which were analyzed by the Hayman- Jinks method. Generally, there was goog fit to the additive-dominance model. Consequently, the Hayman-Jinks method was a useful tool for the study. There was genetic variability for oil content of the achenes as well as its two components, oil content of the achenes as well as its two components, oil content of kernel and the percentage of kernel over achenes. Although additive genetic variance was significant for the three characters, dominant genetic variance was only significant for oil content (achenes and kernel).
