[EN] "Adara is a rootstock selected at the Estación Experimental de Aula Dei, classified as fast growing plum. It performes well with certain cultivars of cherry and others stone fruit species. Problems may arise with others. It also displays a good vegetative propagation aptitude by hardwood cuttings, and induces a vigorous growth of the scions. "Adara" allows to grow cherry in irregated fields. In the present paper the morphological and phenological characteristics of "Adara" are described.
