[EN] We propose to study some «histories of antiquities» written during the eighteenht Century, which arose from the naturalist and geographical fields developped out of scientific expeditions. The exemple of Antonio Ulloa is anlized as a meeting point betwen the Renaissance and the Enlightement voyages at the end of the XVIII Century. There are two topics of particular interest within Ulloa work, beacause they articulated natural and human history: the fossils and the excavation of ruins.

[ES] Se propone el estudio de algunas «historias antiguas» escritas durante la Ilustración, dentro del campo naturalista y geográfico cultivado en las expediciones científicas. Se destaca el caso de Antonio de Ulloa, como punto de unión entre el Renacimiento y los viajes ilustrados a fines del s. XVIII. Dentro de la obra de Ulloa se tratan dos temas de especial interés, como los fósiles y el estudio de excavaciones en minas, por su articulación de la historia natural y la humana.
