Abstract

El uso de los Modelos de Estados y Transiciones (MET) como un marco teóricoconceptual para caracterizar la dinámica del C en ecosistemas arbóreos, permite ordenar patrones de variables asociadas a esta dinámica. Así, el uso de variables dinámicas, tal como la respiración del suelo, ofrece una visión desde la perspectiva de flujos asociados a inventarios, que puede interpretarse bajo el marco de los MET. En este Trabajo se analizan los patrones temporales de la respiración del suelo y se realiza una interpretación usando tasas de cambio de la dinámica de los flujos observados. La información utilizada proviene de muestreos realizados en la microcuenca de Atécuaro, al S de la cuenca de Cuitzeo, en el Estado de Michoacán (México) durante el año 2005.
