Abstract

Las bibliotecas de los centros de investigación del CSIC han ido ampliando su catálogo de servicios tradicionales abriéndose a las nuevas tecnologías de la información y a las innovaciones en materia de documentación. Algunas bibliotecas mantienen una actividad regular e intensa en el campo de la bibliometría, que aquí se describe de forma somera. La biblioteca del Institut de Ciència de Materials (ICMAB) está especializada en la ciencia de materiales, en su relación con áreas diversas como la electrónica, la energía y el medio ambiente, los biomateriales y su aplicación a la medicina, la nanotecnología… La biblioteca del Institut de Microelectrònica (IMB-CNM) está especializada en el área de física, electrónica e ingeniería informática.
