[EN] The presence of boron associated with salt affected soils in the Midle Valley of the Ebro river was studied. The analysis of soil and water samplcs indícates the existence of Boron toxicity levéls associated with high E.C. and S.A.R. values, as well as with some specific ions in the soluble phase. Further studies indícate that the mechanisms involved in the adsorption of Boron in these soils have to be determined before any reclamation procedure is undertaken.
