La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la estabilización de biomoléculas caracterizado porque dicha estabilización se consigue manteniendo la viscosidad del medio en el cual se encuentran dichas biomoléculas. Es de aplicación a un amplio número de biomoléculas tales como ATP o NADH y permite la utilización de las mismas en procedimientos analíticos, clínicos o médicos que se vayan a llevar a cabo en condiciones no adecuadas para el mantenimiento de su estabilidad.
