Abstract

Procedimiento ultrasónico-reológico para la determinación del esfuerzo umbral dinámico en materiales con comportamiento plástico, que comprende: a) acoplamiento de un transductor ultrasónico a la placa inferior de un reómetro torsional con geometría de placas paralelas, b) ajuste de la distancia entre placas del reómetro a un intervalo comprendido entre 0,1 y 1 mm., c) introducción de la muestra de material con comportamiento plástico entre las placas del reómetro ajustadas en la etapa anterior, d) comienzo de la emisión por el transductor de ondas ultrasónicas longitudinales en un intervalo de frecuencias comprendido entre 0,1 y 20 MHz, e) sincronización de dicha emisión acústica con el ensayo reológico consistente en el sometimiento de la muestra a la acción de una solicitación mecáncia.
