Abstract

Dentro de la Dirección General XIII (D G XIII o "Dirección General del Mercado de la Información y la Innovación de las Comunidades Europeas") se creó en 1971 el Comité de la Información y Documentación Científica y Técnica (CIDST), con la misión general de asesoramiento en todas las cuestiones relativas a la información científica y técnica. Desde 1975 ha habido tres planes trienales de acción y el actual programa quinquenal (1984-1988) para el desarrollo del mercado de la información especializada en Europa.
