Abstract

Los principales objetivos de ITER (dispositivo tokamak) son los siguientes: - Conseguir el calentamiento extendido de un plasma formado por deuterio y tritio. - Conseguir a largo plazo una operación en estado estacionario. - Probar diversos componentes para un futuro reactor de fusión (DEMO), como por ejemplo el divertor y distintos módulos para el manto. - Probar el concepto de módulos para el manto de generación de tritio. El acero que se va a emplear como material estructural en los módulos del “blanket” será, en una primera fase, el acero inoxidable AISI 316LN. Ventana de materiales para su uso en TBM (Test Blanket Module) Temperatura ideal para FW (First Wall): RT – 800 °C / 300 – 1100 °C  Sin embargo, con posterioridad a su construcción, ciertos módulos de acero inoxidable se sustituirán por los fabricados con el acero RAFM Eurofer’97
