Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un aptámero cuya estructura comprende al menos una secuencia de nucleótidos Guanina-Guanina-Citosina—AdeninaAdenina/Guanina-Guanina-Guanina-Adenina, que es capaz de unirse específicamente a la región 5’UTR del genoma del virus de la inmunodeficiencia humana tipo 1 (VIH-1), proporcionando el procedimiento de obtención de aptámeros con dicha secuencia mediante combinación de técnicas experimentales de selección in vitro de ácidos nucleicos con técnicas computacionales de optimización de secuencia. Asimismo, la invención protege una construcción genética de DNA para sintetizar dichos aptámeros, preferentemente de RNA.

La invención hace también referencia a los diferentes usos del aptámero anterior, incluyendo su uso como molécula biosensora para detectar y/o cuantificar VIH- 1, como inhibidor de la producción de partículas virales de VIH-1, así como su aplicación en medicina, protegiendo también un método de tratamiento de una enfermedad causada por VIH-1, y una composición farmacéutica que comprenda dicho aptámero.
