Abstract

[ES] Se estudia, en el presente trabajo, el comportamiento y la productividad de diversas praderas artificiales, ensayadas en el secano de condición extrema de la Cuenca Media del Ebro, compuestas por Medicago sativa, Adyta, Onobrychis sativa y Agropyrum intermedium. Se llega a la conclusión de que las praderas con semejante composición botánica son muy prometedoras en este tipo de secanos, ya que no sólo son capaces de dar elevadas producciones de forraje (por encima de 3.000 kg de heno por Ha y año) durante varios años, sino que son asimismo muy útiles para la defensa del suelo contra la erosión (rápida expansión vegetativa de Agropyrum intermedium). Se comprueba, una vez más, la baja proporción de plantas establecidas con respecto a los granos viables sembrados (3,37-34,38 %) y el escaso número de plantas por unidad de superficie que son capaces de sostener los secanos de la región aragonesa (47,25-84,50 plantas por m2). En cuanto a la productividad, parece que las praderas con mayor proporción de alfalfa son más productivas que las praderas con mayor proporción de esparceta, aunque también es verdad que una composición más equilibrada (pradera C) entre las tres especies ensayadas tiende a dar los mejores resultados. Asimismo se confirma, una vez más, que en igualdad de adaptación, las especies leguminosas son más productivas, en nuestros secanos, que las especies gramíneas. Se comprueba, por último, que los coeficientes de conversión de materia verde en seca son, en este tipo de secanos, muy bajos (1,22-3,23), y que su magnitud depende de la especie y de la época de siega. El ensayo comentado en el presente trabajo aporta muchos datos muy interesantes, que deben ser verificados en nuevos ensayos mucho más precisos.

[EN] Were studied and compared hay production, plant persistence and plant survival of six mixtures on a basis of Medicago sativa, Adyta, Onobrychts sativa and Agropyrum intermedium grown on the dryland of Aragón (Spain). A balanced mixture of these three species seems to be the most productive; such a composition is also valuable for erosión control.
