5-fluoruracil(3 ppm.) included in the larval diet of Ceratiiis capitata(Wied.)causes a detrimental effect on the adults fecundity and fertility in the F2 and F3 generations. However, the results obtained, do not allow us to deduce that there will be a sinergistic action between substerilizing doses of gamma radiation and 5-fluorouracil (3 ppm.) in the three generations studied.
