Incidencia y formas de presentación de la pseudotuberculosis ovina

Abstract

La Pseudotuberculosis ovina o Linfadenitis casesosa, causada por Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis ovis, es una enfermedad que existe en todos los países donde hay cría ovina oscilando su prevalencia entre el 7% y 17% en ovinos adultos y entre el 18% y 21% del total de canales decomisadas. En España es bien conocida aunque no se tenga un conocimiento preciso de su incidencia o de otros aspectos de la misma. En este trabajo se realiza un estudio de 1.038 necropsias de ovinos adultos en las que se valoró la presencia de lesiones compatibles con pseudotuberculosis, su localización y las diferentes formas de presentación...
