IDEA IURIS LOGICA

Law has an essence, viz. ordaining the behaviour of members of society in so much as the living-together is concerned, with the sole purpose of the common good. However legal systems often depart from that essence, which brings about a contradiction. Reconciliation of the existent legal system with the essence of law as such is an asymptotic aim which lawyers are duty-bound to take as their guiding compass both on construing currently enacted law and on advising legal improvements.

Esta tesis doctoral jurídica, IDEA IURIS LOGICA, es un vasto proyecto de racionalismo jurídico, con una doble vertiente descriptiva y prescriptiva; es una rehabilitación del derecho natural propio del racionalismo ilustrado, siendo Leibniz la figura más influyente.
