Decaimiento, regeneración y resiliencia del bosque

Abstract

Se presentan los principales factores asociados al decaimiento del bosque y a la limitación de la regeneración, en particular del alcornocal (Quercus suber). Se discute el concepto de resiliencia o capacidad de afrontar los cambios y la importancia de la diversidad a diferentes escalas.

Ponencia presentada en las "Jornadas sobre Regeneración y Conservación de Alcornocales" que tuvo lugar en Algeciras (Cádiz) el 7-8 mayo 2015, organizada por la Consejería de Medio Ambiente y Ordenación del Territorio, Junta de Andalucía.
