Abstract

¿Cómo afectará la modernización a la calidad de las aguas? • La calidad de las aguas mejorará en la Cuenca: 1- Porque aumentará en los ríos el volumen de agua de buena calidad no detraída para el riego. 2- Porque se reducirá el volumen de los retornos de riego de baja calidad. 3- Porque disminuirá la masa de contaminantes exportados por los retornos de riego. “La masa (carga) del contaminante, no la concentración, es la que determina el nivel de contaminación del sistema receptor de los retornos del riego”.
