Abstract

Hace ahora una década se celebró en Valencia (España) el primer Seminario sobre industrialización en Áreas Rurales (SIAR-83), como respuesta al renaciente interés suscitado por ¡os efectos territoriales de la reestructuración productiva iniciada en la década anterior y las nuevas oportunidades que. desde ciertas interpretaciones emergentes en esos anos, so ofrecían a los espacios rurales para superar su marginación del proceso industrializador durante la fase de desarrollo precedente.
