Una nueva variante de Xanthomonas citri subsp. citri reduce el desarrollo del cancro cítrico

Abstract

Síntomas desarrollados a los 16 días post inoculación (dpi) en la cara abaxial de hojas de limonero inoculadas con XC AT y XC T (cepa de referencia) transformadas con GFP (proteína verde fluorescente) utilizando dos metodologías de infección: A, infiltración (107 ufc/ml) y B, hisopado (109 ufc/ml). Los síntomas fueron observados con lupa bajo luz visible y UV (Escala, 10mm). C. Muerte celular en hojas de limonero inoculadas por hisopado. 48 hpi, hojas de limonero fueron teñidas con azul de tripán y observadas microscópicamente. Escala, 150μm; MC, muerte celular; E, estoma.
