En la Reunión anterior, dimos cuenta de la existencia de Polydora en las ostras jóvenes de San Simón (ría de Vigo), especialmente abundante en las despegadas de los colectores en los meses de agosto y abril (Andreu y Arte, 1955), lo que aconseja verificar los despegues y siembra de ostras a finales de año. En vista del daño que Polydora producía en las ostras jóvenes y en el desconchado de la cal que recubría las tejas usadas cono colectores, se emprendieron las experiencias y observaciones que vanos a reseñar en esta comunicación.
