Abstract

[ES] Este artículo describe la relación entre calidad de vida relativa a la salud y el bienestar social, en el contexto de utilización de servicios sanitarios por población mayor y como base para la planificación de la oferta sanitaria. Dicha relación se establece a partir de los estudios realizados en la última década por el equipo de Envejecimiento y Gerontología Social del CSIC.

[EN] Health-Related Quality of Life and social well-being relationship is described in the context of health services utilisation by elderly people, as a basis for planning health services supply. This relationship is explored from the research carried out by the Ageing and Social Gerontology team (Spanish Council for Scientific Research) along the last decade.
