[ES] Durante más de un siglo, la sociología de la revolución se ha desarrollado a la sombra de un poderoso paradigma teórico, el heredado de la obra de Karl Marx, para el que la revolución no es un lipo de fenómeno histórico que debe ser explicado, sino una regla necesaria del cambio social. El peso de este paradigma se manifiesta hoy incluso en el lenguaje ordinario: cuando en buena lógica la revolución es un tipo muy específico de cambio, es muy común que, a la inversa, se tienda a calificar de revolución todo cambio social significativo.
