La obra literaria de Emilio Carrere (I). Emilio Carrere y sus poemarios Románticas y El Caballero de la Muerte.

Abstract

[EN] This job initiates an exhaustive review of the literary work of the author Emilio Carrere Moreno (Madrid, 1881-1947). In this first delivery are noted his poetic and literary biography, his activity as anthologist, author of prologues and translator, his poetical production, the inclusion of his poems in diverse anthologies, his personality as a bohemian, and the opinions on his work and his personality. The second part is dedicated to the study of his first and second books of poems: Romantics (Románticas) and The Knight of Death (El Caballero de la Muerte). His diverse editions are compared, its critical reception is noted and its content and the metric of its poems are analysed. An index of first verses is included.

[ES] El presente trabajo da inicio a una revisión exhaustiva de la obra literaria del autor Emilio Carrere Moreno (Madrid, 1881-1947). En esta primera entrega se da noticia de su biografía poética y literaria, su actividad como antólogo, prologuista y traductor, su producción poética, la inclusión de sus poemas en diversas antologías, su personalidad como bohemio, y las opiniones sobre su obra y su persona. La segunda parte está dedicada al estudio de sus poemarios primero y segundo: Románticas y El Caballero de la Muerte. Se comparan sus diversas ediciones, se da noticia de su recepción crítica y se analizan sus contenidos y la métrica de sus poemas. Se incluye un índice de primeros versos.
