Abstract

A medio plazo, algunos cambios en la composición de las familias y su impacto sobre las políticas sociales y sanitarias son fácilmente previsibles. En este artículo se analizan numerosas fuentes empíricas para prever la demanda de servicios de cuidado en España y en la Comunidad de Madrid. Utilizando la llamada “Escala de Madrid” se ponen en cuestión las estimaciones del PIB y la proporcionalidad del esfuerzo que han de aportar las familias en forma de servicios no remunerados.
