Abstract

Es un análisis de las principales dificultades metodológicas que se plantean en el diseño y ejecución de las investigaciones sobre uso del tiempo. Recoge la evolución histórica y el debate sobre los aspectos fuertes y débiles de cada opción. Dedica especial atención al debate sobre estudios generales y monográficos, a las muestras extensas y reducidas, así como a la presión del observador y el contexto en la definición de una actividad como principal o secundaria.
