Abstract

Aquesta recerca es pregunta sobre la qüestió de les relacions entre els Poders públics i les Entitats religioses en matèria educativa. En aquest sentit, es presta especial atenció a la ubicació de l'ensenyament de la religió i del fenomen religiós dins del sistema educatiu, aspecte molt polèmic, possiblement amb un excés de dimensionament en totes les reformes educatives. La realitat resultant comporta que l’única matèria on l’alumnat estudia de manera separada i aïllada sigui la religió. El diferent credo religiós esdevé més una barrera educativa que una possibilitat de diàleg i d'intercanvi d'experiències i coneixements. Es tracta d'estudiar l'evolució històrica d'aquestes relacions educatives en un període cronològic molt concret: des de la Constitució espanyola de 1978 fins a l'actualitat. El marc geogràfic de l'estudi el situem en la realitat de la nostra societat catalana, ubicada dins l'Estat espanyol, circumstància que determina el marc d’aquestes relacions. La recerca realitza una anàlisi de la norma va educativa i dels corresponents debats polític, social, acadèmic i curricular amb la finalitat d'identificar elements de consens, en un camp on aquest s'està mostrant molt difícil. Les religions i el nostre context social de pluralisme i diversitat religiosa reclamen un tractament adequat, des de la perspectiva de l'alumnat, en el nostre sistema educatiu, partint de la base de la pròpia llibertat de consciència, per tal de contribuir a l'educació integral de l'alumnat
