La Neo-distopia: la distopia audiovisual del segle CC!

Abstract

Partint de l'obra Utopia, de l'escriptor Tomàs Moro, aquest treball pretén fer un recorregut del gènere distòpic en els mitjans audiovisuals des dels seus antecedents i les primeres pel·lícules del gènere del segle XX, claus per la seva evolució, fins arribar als anys 90, anys de la seva consolidació. La part principal treball és un estudi cinematogràfic del gènere distòpic al segle XXI, sota una mirada històrica i una divisió de cinc tipologies distòpiques rellevants: de caire juvenil, apocalíptic i postapocalíptic, feminista, control social i lluita de classes i, per últim, ciberpunk. Per complementar aquest estudi, s’ha dut a terme una anàlisi minuciosa de dues sagues distòpiques, Els jocs de la fam (2012-2015) i Divergent (2014-2016)
