Abstract

L’objectiu del present treball és examinar quines expectatives i imaginaris posseeixen els i les joves de contextos familiars de classe baixa respecte l’educació postobligatòria i universitària i com aquests es relacionen amb el tipus d’orientació i context del centre educatiu on estudien. Es parteix del model d’anàlisis decisional de les transicions i de les aportacions de Boudon sobre els efectes primaris i secundaris. Els resultats s’han obtingut a partir d’un estudi qualitatiu de grup de discussió amb joves de secundaria de 15 i 16 anys d’un institut públic de Gavà, Catalunya. Es fan aportacions envers les estratègies d’orientació educativa dels centres.
