El artículo plantea una nueva perspectiva de análisis de la izquierda armada, situándola en el marco de una oleada global de movimientos antisistémicos surgida desde finales de la década de los cincuenta del pasado siglo. Adicionalmente, el trabajo contribuye a esclarecer algunos de los mecanismos de interacción transnacional característicos de este conjunto de movimientos y analiza algunos de los rasgos básicos de su proceso de desarrollo. The article sets out a new perspective of analysis of the armed left within the framework of a global wave of anti-systemic movements that emerged since the end of the 1950s. Additionally, the work shows some of the mechanisms of transnational interaction that characterized this set of movements and analyses the basic features of its development process.
