[EN] Cynodon dactylon is a turfgrass species that slows down its shoot growing below 13ºC and becomes dormant (turns brown) when temperatures approach 10ºC. The turfgrass stand resumes growth and greens-up at the end of the winter period when temperatures rise again. During the dormant period, the turfgrass has a very low aesthetically aspect. The objective of this Final Degree Thesis is to demonstrate that a product including a Bacteria mixture belonging to the following genus: Bacillus, Azotobacter and Pseudomonas, could avoid or delay winter dormancy during the mild spanish littoral mediterranean winter.
