[ES] El proyecto a desarrollar se sitúa en el barrio de Orriols, en la ciudad de Valencia. Se trata de una escuela de creación, cuyo objetivo es aprender construyendo y desarrollando la creatividad del alumno, de este modo activar el barrio de un modo social. La docencia de la escuela, se basa en temas que serán de gran relevancia en el futuro, como la naturaleza, el reciclado de materiales, la tecnología y el arte. Al ser una escuela de aprendizaje práctico, las aulas son de gran tamaño, con grandes espacios, y se cuenta con un espacio de taller que abarca la mayoría del proyecto. La escuela cuenta también con una pequeña biblioteca, talleres, sala de exposiciones, auditorio y bar, que podrá ser utilizada por todo el barrio. La forma del proyecto surge ante la necesidad de conectar la huerta y la ciudad salvando los desniveles existentes y haciendo que el edificio principal surja de la tierra en forma de rampa vegetal que va ganando altura para albergar los espacios más importantes del programa, y que a su vez se conecta con otras piezas transversales dispuestas de modo que ser respete la trama y la vegetación existente del solar. El proyecto está diseñado de manera que sea lo más sostenible posible, de modo que las pérdidas de energía sean mínimas. Se invierte en la estructura y se crean espacios lo más flexibles posibles para que el edificio perdure en el futuro incluso variando su uso según las necesidades del barrio en el momento.

[EN] The project to be developed is located in the neighborhood of Orriols, Valencia. It is a school of creation, whose objective is to learn by building and developing the student's creativity, in this way activating the neighborhood in a social way. The teaching strategy of the school is based on topics that will be of great relevance in the future, such as nature, recycling different materials, technology and art. Being a practical learning school, the classrooms are large, with wide spaces, and there is a workshop space that covers most of the project. The school also has a small library, many workshops, an exhibition hall, an auditorium and a bar, all of which can be used by the whole neighborhood. The shape of the project arises from the need to connect the garden and the city, saving the existing slopes and causing the main building to emerge from the ground in the form of a ramp covered in green that is gaining height to house the most important spaces of the program, plus, it is connected to other transversal pieces arranged in such a way that the plot and the existing vegetation of the site are still respected. The project is designed to be as sustainable as possible, so that energy losses are as low as possible. The key is investing in the structure and creating spaces as flexible as possible so that the building can last in the future and even vary it¿s use according to the needs of the neighborhood at the time.
