Abstract

En la primera parte del artículo, se contextuaIizó la importancía de abordar el edadismo al tratar el género desde la LIJ (recordemos que es la tercera causa de discriminación mundial tras el racismo y el sexismo y que, además, intersecciona también con ellos), incidiendo en la relación entre la investigación feminista, la investigación desde la gerontología feminista y, la LIJ no edadista. En esta segunda parte, abordamos la responsabilidad curricular sobre el contenido que legitimamos desde la LIJ, en relación con el edadismo; cómo se relaciona la LIJ con aspectos de la reaIídad como, por ejemplo, el reduccionismo al nombrar a las mujeres mayores en un contexto de ocultación, de invisibilización de referentes de mujeres mayores, que sufren una práctica cultural de violencia simbóIica. Se proponen alternativas a las narrativas que sustentan este edadismo, desde una aproximacíón interseccional incluyendo ejemplos de interseccionaIidad del género con mujeres mayores raciaIizadas y de identidad sexual diversa, subrayando su escasa representación en la LIJ y en la tercera parte se incluirá un corpus de Iibros para seguir investigando sobre el tema del artículo para evitar naturalizar un imaginario Iiterario y social homogeneizado e irreal, mostrando mujeres mayores con agencia, con poder de decisión y acción.
