[EN] In this paper we study the evolution over the period 1996 to 2007 of the dimensional heterogeneity of the firms located in Spanish industrial districts. The results confirm the presence of a district model with an increasingly heterogeneous structure, although higher levels of homogeneity are observed compared to those companies not located in districts. This fact confirms that the district still exerts a significant influence on their companies. On the other hand, this result varies across industrial sectors, presenting fashion-led districts the higher growth trends of its internal heterogeneity.
