El arte como herramienta de transformación social. fluidez, imaginación y participación en espacios públicos

Abstract

Reflexiones de un artista argentino establecido en Londres, dedicado a trabajar en arte público y participativo desde hace más de 20 años. El texto nos lleva a ver su propia evolución, desde sus primeras intervenciones deambulatorias y espontáneas hasta llegar al desarrollo de proyectos con alto nivel de investigación y complejidad que contribuyan a mejorar la vida de gente en situaciones de adversidad. Patricio Forrester nos cuenta, de forma informal, su propia evolución creativa de lo individual a lo social, el trabajo en conjunto, la formación de su Estudio de Arte Público y los procesos que se fueron dando a través del tiempo para llevar a cabo su ambición artística: hacer una contribución positiva a la vida urbana por medio de la creatividad aplicada al espacio público.
