Despoblation is a scour, that affects a 50 % of spanish territory. However, there are three provinces (Teruel, Cuenca and Soria) whose negative population situation has made them to be considered territories with serious disadvantages, by the Southern Sparsely Populated Areas (SSPA), and they European Community. Precisely, this work has its actuación area in one of this locations. The province of Teruel does not exceed the 12’5 habitants per square kilometre, according to a study made by “Serranía Celtibérica”, an entity created and dedicated to study territorial situación. Is about a demographic desert, then according to a report made by the citizen platform “Teruel Existe”, depopulation have reduced average density population in this province from 18 habitants per square kilometre, to 9’1. A number below the value of 10, that marks the limit for a territory to be considered demographic desert. To that problem, is added the lack of generational relief that exists in the major part of Teruel’s province. According to data of this study, young people don’t stay in the municipality. The numbers reflect that in 22 municipalities of Teruel, there are no people under 18 years old. This is due to the big amount of rural exodus, specially, by the part of young people, who emígrate to the city searching for work or studies. The lack of services and infraestructura, sometimes, make impossible the return of this young people, so decide not to bet in the rural media, due to the lack of opportunities. Other ways, it is increasing tendence.This situation was only interrupted in the period between 2002 and 2009. But since them, the lost of population has been growing, with a recail of a 1 % in population cut. In this sense, it is not surprising that this situation results attractive for massive media, that often focus their attention showing the negative part. Thus, frecuently can be seen audiovisual reportages whose principal scenary happens in small villages, where the set of its habitants those not pass of 10 people. This audiovisual pieces tend to focus in the populational problematic, leaving aside aspects like the beauty of the landscape, o the emergence of new iniciatives and the opportunities on it. Frecuently, the tendence has been seen less used by regional mass media, where they have emergence new programs, with the aim of change the negatives views of this type of territories, of change the negative views of this type of territories. This has been detecte an informative hole with possibilities of been covered in the province of Teruel. Then, after annalysing the mediatic situation in the territory, a necesity has been discovered: an informative portal that gathers iniciatives to help return the delicated health of rural media. Definitely, a media worried about the environment, where a positive way of life is published, and new opportunities are shown, Also a place where habitants can find an ally in their fight against depopulation, and a speaker to report unfair situations. This is why from Conciencia TE! the articles, interviews and reportages are made showing reality of people who decided to bet to live in their municipalities and launch their jobs. The closeness is key to arrive to the objetive publis, formed mostly by young people. Raising awareness of this sector of society is crucial to generate a change on the negative outlook that exists on the rural environment. Although it is not left out to all those adults who are part of it, and whose territorial roots may motivate them to start a new business in the rural world. This space wants to inspire people who live in small towns in Teruel. All of them can find a motivation, thanks to the testimony of those who have decided to bet on entrepreneurship in an environment where opportunities are scarce. Therefore, the germ of this project is positivity, as one of its objectives is to change the degraded image that exists in rural areas. However, this value should not hinder the informative work. Well, the situation of the rural environment is alarming, and from Consciousness TE! the situation of these areas is dignified, but without forgetting the stormy reality that some of them go through.
