This document contains the project report for the Final Project of the Video Game Design and Development Degree. This project consists in the implementation of a Shoot ‘em up video game for PCs in which the player will compete with the machine. Each one will fight against a series of waves of enemies with pre-established patterns and will launch a series of penalties to the opponent until one of the two is defeated. The behaviour of the machine will be controlled using artificial intelligence (AI). Concretely, we will use neural networks to train the machine to obtain a clever opponent. The neural network will be developed through Machine Learning (ML) agents of Unity and using Reinforcement Learning techniques.
