Los problemas relativos al tráfico y a la seguridad vial constituyen una de las principales causas de desgracias (muertes y traumatismos con secuelas graves) a escala global y se erigen en consecuencia en uno de los principales focos de atención e inversión de los diferentes estados y demás actores e instituciones internacionales. Se desarrollarán los diferentes tipos de campañas de seguridad vial existentes, las principales temáticas y la evolución de las mismas en España. A su vez se prestará una especial atención a las campañas preventivas y de concienciación y a la vinculación de estas con los delitos tipificados en el Código Penal, bajo la rúbrica de “Delitos contra la seguridad vial”. Una última parte del estudio abordará el impacto y la efectividad de las mismas a efectos de valorar el éxito que han tenido en los destinarios, sus efectos positivos y sus debilidades. Para ello se realizará un análisis comparado que ilustre la materia descrita atendiendo a la situación vivida en países de nuestro entorno.

The problems related to traffic and road safety are one of the main causes of misfortunes (deaths and traumas with serious consequences) on a global scale and are consequently erected in one of the main focuses of attention and investment of the different states and other actors and international institutions. The different types of existing road safety campaigns, the different themes and the evolution thereof will be developed in Spain. At the same time, special attention will be paid to preventive and awareness campaigns and to linking them to the offenses established in the Criminal Code, under the rubric of "Crimes against road safety". A final part of the study will address the impact and effectiveness of the same in order to assess the success they have had in the recipients, their positive effects and their weaknesses. To do this, a comparative analysis will be carried out to illustrate the subject described, taking into account the situation experienced in countries around us.
