Interculturalismo a través de la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil

Abstract

Vivimos es una sociedad donde múltiples culturas conviven juntas, no obstante, no somos conscientes de cómo éstas pueden influir positivamente en nosotros ofreciéndonos la oportunidad de crecer como personas y enriqueciéndonos mutuamente las unas de las otras. Por este motivo, se plantea el trabajo de la Educación para la Paz, es decir, el proceso de adquisición de conocimientos, actitudes o habilidades para buscar la convivencia en harmonía. Concretamente, en el presente trabajo se plantea la temática de la interculturalidad. Indagando en este tema, se muestra cómo reconocer los beneficios que nos aporta vivir en una sociedad plural. Para ello, se realiza una investigación sobre la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil (LIJ) mostrando la presencia que ésta tiene en nuestra sociedad y el provecho que los alumnos y alumnas pueden adquirir gracias a ella. Además, se presenta el álbum ilustrado como uno de los principales recursos didácticos para el trabajo de la LIJ. Concretamente, se analiza el álbum ilustrado de “El día que Saída llegó”, y posteriormente se plantea una serie de actividades de cómo llevar a cabo en el aula de primaria la lectura de dicho álbum ilustrado además de actividades complementarias que ayuden a reforzar el tema tratado, es decir, la interculturalidad.
